Charlie the Dog needs a home

Charlie is a handsome 1 1/2 year old Hanging Tree Border Collie - breed as the ultimate herding dog - and has quite a story. When he was just a tiny pup, he survived the floods in Louisiana by climbing onto a rooftop. It was a very dramatic experience for him and his breeder was not able to use him due to being so fearful. He was then placed into a home with 5 small children, where everything scared him. He has been in a foster home since arriving at Alaqua and has finally been able to just be a dog. He bonded quickly to his foster mom and will try to "herd" anyone coming close, so a home this understands this behavior is key. He is an amazing athlete and could win awards at agility!
